Sam’s theatrical debut in “Alice in Wonderland.”  Do you know the words to the Lewis Carroll poem “The Walrus and the Carpenter”?  He had to sing them.  And he was good.  Very good pitch.  This was a great experience for him, as he tends to be a little shy and a lot introspective.  And of course, I’m thrilled, since my childhood theatrical experiences are such fuzzy memories for me.  Did you know I was “Alice” when I was 12?  I dug out a picture, but I can’t figure out how to make my computer talk to my scanner, so that will have to wait until my tech support guy/husband gets home.

The oldest child tends to set the precedent, and already, the younger boys are talking about when it will be their turn to be on stage — could they be the caterpillar?  Or the king of hearts?

The time has come, the walrus said, to talk of many things… I love his nonsensical way of talking. He should hook up with my Buttercup, she likes to write plays. Congrats on being a stage mom, hahah!

I remember very well that you were a most perfect Alice, Brian was Jim Hawkins, and I had a silly flower around my head for Drip Drip Drop little April Showers….

I wish we could have been there to see it. I love to see other family members getting on the stage… It’s so much fun.
